Rubber – the future in flooring solutions These days, rubber flooring is as much at home in a domestic kitchen or bathroom than it is in an office or shopping centre. In the past your options for rubber flooring tiles would have been limited to a handful of colours; whereas these days, if you’re looking to fit rubber flooring in your apartment or home, the variety of rubber flooring tile colours and textures is incredible, so it’s easy to find a floor tile that fits in with your existing décor.
Tile Types
Flooring Tiles are two types of Stoneware and porcelain. Glazed holds the most high traffic areas and porcelain works well in bathrooms. Porcelain is typically more expensive, so consider your budget and size of the area you want to tile. Tiles are in many shapes and sizes. For flooring, however, I suggest using larger tiles up to 12 “x 12″.
When it comes to kitchen flooring, tiles are amongst the best choice you can make. However in saying that there are different types of floor tile and they are not all created equal. Tiles which are unglazed are much more difficult to keep clean than glazed tiles. Because our lives are packed with so many chores the last thing you want to do is worry over keeping your floor tiles clean.
Some of the garage floor covering options available depends on exactly how much of the floor space you want covered. Some cover the entire ground space. Various lengths and widths are available including ones that overlap with flaps that allow you to join pieces together to give a seamless effect.
